🧠 About the Role

VerbaCare is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based therapy services across San Joaquin County public and charter schools, including Stockton Unified, Lodi Unified, Tracy Unified , and neighboring districts.

🔑 Top Responsibilities

• Conduct speech & language assessments and prepare evaluation reports
• Develop, implement & track IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy (individual & group) to K–12 students
• Collaborate with IEP teams: teachers, school psychologists, families
• Document sessions & progress via SEIS , SIRAS , or district tools
• Ensure compliance with IDEA , California Ed Code , and school policies

🎓 Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Valid California SLP License (required)
• CCC-SLP preferred | CFs encouraged — supervision available
• Experience with school-based therapy, IEPs, and special ed processes
• Bilinguals (Spanish, Punjabi, Hmong) highly preferred
