Foreman – Environmental Construction

Location: Concord, CA | Up to $45/hr DOE | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus or $1,000 Referral Bonus

As a Foreman , you’ll be on the front lines — guiding field crews, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality work that protects communities and ecosystems.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate field crews , ensuring efficient, high-quality daily operations.
  • Execute project plans by overseeing materials, subcontractors, and heavy equipment onsite.
  • Interpret drawings and specs to keep work aligned with project goals and client expectations.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings , enforce site-specific safety protocols, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Track project performance, labor hours, material use, and production metrics.
  • Act as a key liaison between field teams, superintendents, and clients to resolve issues in real time.
  • Spot and report scope changes and initiate creative solutions when roadblocks arise.
  • Maintain quality control documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a journeyman or foreman in excavation, demolition, grading, or environmental remediation.
  • Strong background in environmental construction and awareness of related regulations and safety practices.
  • Proven leadership and crew management skills — you know how to motivate and get results.
  • Strong understanding of plans, specs, and field documentation (e.g., change orders, safety logs).
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, and materials.
  • Certifications such as 40-Hour HAZWOPER , 30-Hour OSHA , or 10-Hour OSHA strongly preferred (or willing to obtain).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally with clients and partners.
