Job Title: Bioskills Surgical Training Event Manager

Reports to: Karen Brown, CEO

FLSA Status: Exempt from Overtime

DEFINITION:

A full-time Bioskills Surgical Training Event Manager position executing all aspects of lab events for existing and growing client relations. This position reports to the CEO, supervises the Lab Techs and Event Coordinator. Also works closely and other administrative staff and warehouse staff. This is a dynamic position with room to grow and learn every day, plus based out of sunny San Diego.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bioskills Surgical Training Event Manager

• Responsible for all on-site and off-site lab events, including all internal and external logistical lab details for client related events, including set ups and clean ups. Includes on-site management of each event.
• Oversees all specimen tissue orders from vendors and arrange shipping and receiving dates and times
• Oversee lab inventory ordering supplies and equipment needed for general inventory as well as each event. This includes purchasing new equipment.
• Coordinate with Warehouse staff on delivery and equipment logistics
• Create estimates for clients, send contracts and send deposit information to confirm events
• Prepare recap emails for each client event prior to execution
• Prepare accounting re-cap after completion of client lab
• Maintain Google Drive & CRM appointment for each client event
• Various projects to maintain and grow the business, as well as organizational projects
• Manage day to day duties and schedules for Lab Tech(s)
• Develop and maintain internal documents and documents for clients
• Maintain asset list of lab equipment
• Develop and maintain SOPs for the lab

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum qualification of working experience in surgical settings including operating room or bio-skills lab
2. Must be comfortable around human tissue samples
3. Ability to lift, with assistance, 50 – 60 lbs
4. Must be organized, work in a team environment, be solutions oriented and have customer service savviness
5. Very flexible schedule to accommodate event times, includes various evenings and weekends
6. Understand occasional travel may be needed for Burbank labs, Lab2Go events and occasional trade shows/conferences. Anticipated to be under 25 events/year

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary Range: $65,000-$95,000 based on experience and skill set
