About Our District, and Community
The MCPASD is committed to the success of all students. We expect all educators to regularly examine how their personal experiences and biases impact their ability to effectively serve all students and families. We seek a collective understanding of the systemic biases within the education system which serve to perpetuate inequities for some students and families. We believe that all students should be educated with their peers regardless of need, and that student needs can be met within the regular education setting when teachers collaborate to provide appropriately differentiated universal instruction.
Bilingual Resource Teachers are teacher leaders who actively collaborate with staff, students, families, and community to design services and systems in a manner which actively repays the educational debt owed to historically marginalized students and families.
