FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Warehouse Manager for an exciting client. This client is well known for the engineering and manufacture and distribution of high-quality products.
So, what will you be doing as a Warehouse Manager?
-Provide leadership and oversight to day-to-day warehouse operations
-Maintain and encourage a positive, customer-focused experience
-Develop Key Performance Indicators and execute on countermeasures as needed
-Optimize material flow thorough the warehouse (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping)
-React with a strong sense of urgency to customer issues or complaints
To be successful, you will need:
-BS in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or another related field
-5+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations
-3+ years of leadership experience
-Demonstrated experience with ERP/WMS
-Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization; Customer facing
-Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Things considered a plus:
-MBA
-Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
-APICS/ISM certification (CPM, CPIM, CSCP)
