Job Title: Senior Capital Project Engineer

On site, St. Louis, MO

Role Overview

This role leads and manages multiple capital projects related to manufacturing processes, including new product introduction and ongoing regulatory compliance. The engineer coordinates with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining alignment with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex equipment, facility, and production line projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate design, scope, and bid documents; review compliance with standards.
• Track project progress using tools like Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Serve as liaison between Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Procurement.
• Oversee contractor performance, safety, and quality compliance.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide status updates to site leadership.
• Approve invoices and manage project closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, project management tools, and quality systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Smartsheet; experience with aseptic processes preferred.
