Are you a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of business process, technology, and transformation ?

Our Client is seeking a PLM Lead Business Analyst to own end-to-end process design, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement in support of our global R&D, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs teams. This is a hybrid position based out of our North Chicago, IL office.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to design, test, and implement complex digital solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable systems across PLM, ERP, MES, QMS, and CAD platforms
• Deliver functional documentation, visual process flows, test plans, and user training
• Lead the execution of cross-functional projects and process enhancements
• Ensure quality, compliance, and continuity in regulated (FDA/ISO) environments
• Partner with enterprise architects and application leaders to align on long-term digital strategy

• Enable digital transformation in R&D and product lifecycle systems
• Serve as an expert-level liaison across IT, business units, and implementation partners
• Bring together cross-functional process knowledge to drive performance and standardization
• Help shape the business technology roadmap through deep process insight and solution expertise

✅ What You Bring

• 8–12 years of total experience, including 5+ in business systems or digital transformation roles
• Experience with PLM systems (ARAS, Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill), ERP (SAP ECC or S/4HANA), MES, QMS
• Strong understanding of FDA/ISO 13485 , product development, and regulated environments
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
• Background in medical device, pharma, or similar industries is highly desirable
• Agile/Scrum, PM, or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a bonus

🧠 Technical Fluency In

• PLM configuration and integration (Parts, BOMs, Change Requests, CAD, workflows)
• Business analysis and requirements gathering techniques (use cases, sprints, roadmaps)
• Data tools: Power BI, data lakes, embedded analytics, or self-service reporting
• Validation & testing strategies in FDA-compliant environments
• End-to-end knowledge of NPD, regulatory tracking, and digital manufacturing tools
