Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Salary: $60,000 – $65,000/Year

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of advanced freeze-drying equipment used in industrial and pharmaceutical applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of freeze-drying equipment
• Troubleshoot system errors and failures; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Support equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites
• Assist with equipment production, testing, and customer support when not traveling
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Provide on-call support per service agreements
• Represent the company with professionalism and a strong customer service approach at all client locations
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Required Skills & Experience:

• Technical certificate in electro-mechanical or process disciplines, or associate degree in a technical field with 3–5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Understanding of control systems (PC/PLC architectures)
• Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and drawings
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve equipment issues independently
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and provide on-call support as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in FDA-regulated or other highly controlled environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, etc.)
• Familiarity with freeze-drying processes
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining long-term client relationships
