Position Description For: Maintenance Manager

Result Statement:

To achieve company sales and profitability goals by providing maintenance support necessary to foster continuous improvement in plant production. provide interaction with plant operations, and contractors to support safety and efficient quality production.

Managerial Work:

The work of getting results through others - Help ALL employees to produce their results – Coach, Train, Praise, Measure and Monitor Results- Be EVERYONE’S HELPER.

1. WORK WITH overall plant operations in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, manufacturing, and maintenance.
2. SUPPORT operating strategy.
3. SUPPORT the workforce to maximize production efficiency, quality and profitability in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
4. Coordinate and communicate project and maintenance activities through training, evaluating and mentoring the production and maintenance teams.
5. Maintain facility and equipment necessary to support operations and production.
6. Implement projects to meet the plant operation and production plan.

Technical Work:

Routine Tasks that normally make up the position holder’s daily work. Hands on direct work of your business.

1. FIND AND IMPLEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE.
2. Manage maintenance costs within budget.
3. Manage project and plant costs within the operating budget.
4. Support production and maintenance needs by meeting their needs.
5. Support PLANT MANAGER, PRODUCTION LEADERSHIP BY UNDERSTANDING THEIR NEEDS AND PRIORITIES.
