Job Description:
The Maintenance Director is a key member of the leadership team of the Maryland State Fair & Agricultural Society, Inc (MDSF). The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and functionality of all fairgrounds and racetrack facilities and equipment. This role involves managing a team of maintenance staff to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of buildings, restrooms, and grounds throughout the year. The Maintenance Director will coordinate maintenance activities, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This position also includes budget management, vendor coordination, and event support to facilitate a seamless experience for visitors and participants. This role is crucial for fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that the organization meets its strategic goals, lives the mission, and serves its community effectively.
Compensation: $80-90k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
