Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to support a dynamic internal development initiative. This project will involve designing and developing engaging, interactive learning experiences using Articulate 360 (Storyline) that include complex functionality and layers. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and able to transform complex information into compelling, learner-centered content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive learning modules for an internal employee development initiative
• Leverage Articulate 360 tools , particularly Storyline , to build high-quality eLearning content
• Apply instructional design best practices (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to create effective and engaging learning experiences
• Manage project tasks and timelines with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Communicate project updates clearly and proactively to stakeholders and team members
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a portfolio showcasing work in Articulate Storyline 360.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with internal corporate training or professional development programs
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)
• Background in organizational development or talent development is a plus
Contract Details:
• Approximate duration: 6+ weeks, with potential for extension based on project needs
• Hours: M-F Flexible in office.
• Independent Contractor Status: Candidates must be eligible to work as independent contractors and able to provide a valid 1099 for tax and compliance purposes. Must provide your own computer.
