Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Infrastructure Enginee r
2 days on-site in NYC or Iselin, NJ office.

This is a permanent FT career opportunity, VP - Level position with base salary range 120 -150K DOE, plus ~20% bonus and great benefits package.

Infrastructure Engineer - VMware

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for standing up, configuring, and managing the back-end Infrastructure. This person will work closely with the internal and external teams to advise and design Infrastructure solution for business problems and demands.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE :

REQUIRED:

VMware

• vSphere (vCenter and ESXi)
• Horizon
• UAG
• Workspace One

PowerShell Scripting (or other scripting languages)

Strong fundamental knowledge of supporting technologies, including Network, Hardware, Virtualization and other enterprise software.

Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must work well in a high-pressure environment and keep cool under stress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on implementing said solution designs.
• Develop and implement solutions that will streamline deployment.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding all technologies.
• Analyze and provide rapid solutions for production incidents.
• Create and maintain system documentation and ensure runbooks are up to date and accurate.
• Develop and document new standards for existing and new technologies.
• Creating runbooks for systems and services. Document of system builds and designs

EDUCATION:
BS degree in Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
