Tekcel8 is seeking an IBM Sterling B2B Engineer on behalf of one of its federal clients in the healthcare space. This is a key position supporting electronic data exchanges and secure file transfer workflows.
🛠 Role Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Connect:Direct, and Control Center
• Design and maintain business processes, mappings, and integration flows
• Apply security patches and updates
• Troubleshoot transfer and system issues in Unix/Linux environments
• Manage SSL certs, SSH keys, and secure transfer protocols
• Provide documentation and off-hours support
✅ Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling (B2B Integrator, Connect:Direct, Control Center) experience
• Strong Linux/Unix administration background
• Familiarity with encryption, certificates, and secure protocols (SFTP,
• Experience in process mapping and integration development
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
Preferred:
• AWS Transfer Family exposure
• Encryption experience (PGP/GPG)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PERL, Java)
