Job Description

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is currently seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director for a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA), located in a beautiful office in the Northern section of the Bronx, NY. Qualified candidates will have prior Director level experience within a Licensed Home Health Care Services Agency within areas such as Operations, Network Development, Analytics & Compliance. They will have great leadership qualities with extensive Administrator experience in business operations, strategic planning and regulatory compliance.

Overview

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Quality & Corporate Compliance, the Executive Director will oversee all business operations, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance for LHCSA. This role is responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, financial growth, and alignment with Company’s mission, values, and long-term goals.This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to shape service delivery and innovation across our home care network, while also ensuring exceptional care standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LHCSA’s leadership team to improve care delivery, workflow efficiency, and financial stability.
  • Serve as Administrator of Record for the agency, ensuring full compliance with NYS DOH and CMS regulations.
  • Develop strategic plans to drive growth, revenue, and clinical quality.
  • Analyze business and clinical performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance, clinical, HR, and marketing departments to drive recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance, re-certification surveys, and compliance activities.
  • Lead internal and external communication strategies, including union negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Review and develop agency-facing materials and marketing campaigns to support outreach and recruitment efforts.
  • Foster innovation through partnership development and service model enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership in a licensed home care agency, long-term care, hospital, or managed care environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations; experience with claims data preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (pivot tables/macros), PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Proven success in project management, business operations, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in labor relations and union environments strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
