About Us

At Rime, we're redefining the boundaries of voice AI. Our mission is to empower developers to build voice applications that sound genuinely human—capturing nuances like laughter, sighs, and accents. Our cutting-edge speech synthesis models, such as Arcana and Mist v2, power tens of millions of real-time conversations monthly for top-tier teams.

We're a nimble team of linguists, engineers, and creatives based in San Francisco, dedicated to delivering ultra-realistic, multilingual voice experiences. With a strong foundation in AI and a passion for innovation, we're looking to expand our team with a talented Product Designer who is comfortable with coding.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our web applications.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Translate design concepts into functional code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our products.
Requirements
  • Experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks like React or Next.js.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with motion design and animation tools.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and Github.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Interest or experience in voice technology or AI-driven applications.
What We’re Looking For
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • A passion for creating user-centric designs and seamless user experiences.
  • An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Someone who values clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement.
What We Offer
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Full health benefits (Vision, Dental, Health)
  • Opportunities for growth and leadership as the team expands.
  • Competitive salary and equity options.
  • Flexible work hours and remote-first culture.
  • Appreciation for work-life balance.
  • Beautiful office in the heart of SF and close to public transit.

If you're excited to work on the cutting edge of Voice AI and design, we'd love to hear from you!
