Job Description

MD Staff Pointe is a growing healthcare staffing firm seeking a Credentialing and Logistics Coordinator to work in their Irving, TX office. This role will support the recruiting & business development departments to ensure physicians meet their target start date. The position is not remote or hybrid.

Credentialing Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process candidate privileging applications for each assignment request by Business Development
  • Coordinates with hospital, medical staff, and practitioners to complete privileging process, including any additional documentation, verifications, references and applications necessary.
  • Demonstrates ownership of each file ensuring candidate meet target start date
  • Communication with Recruiters, Business Development, Management and Administrative Assistant are necessary to prioritize the needs of MD Staff Pointe for placements, assignments,
  • Assists clients with reappointments as requested.
  • Coordinates with state licensure boards and physicians to obtain applications, documentation, and data necessary for state licenses.
  • Email and verbal communication with providers and clients must be documented in CRM.
  • Maintains current documentation and updates clients and candidates in CRM
  • Assist with confirmation letters and booking candidate travel as needed
  • Credential candidates generated from the Recruiting team
  • Researches and obtains verification of physician's medical experience, professional references, state licensure, DEA, state narcotics, etc.
  • Evaluates candidate files and assists with candidate QA approval

Education and Experience

  • College Degree Preferred
  • One year credentialing experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and credentialing experience.
  • Computer skills required: CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
  • Must be resourceful, a self-starter, and a problem solver
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
