Onsite Requirements:

  • MBSE tools (e.g., EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo)
  • Experience in developing or designing within an Avionics Environment
  • Test and integration of software for embedded systems

Job Description:


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture models for software components
  • Write high-level requirements
  • SysML modeling using MagicDraw/Cameo
  • Derive system functional requirements from stakeholder expectations
  • Perform requirements validation and verification
  • Coordinate with IPTs, suppliers, and peers to plan and review designs
  • Develop test cases
  • Troubleshoot integration/verification issues
  • Manage issues, problem reports, and change requests
  • Coordinate with Safety, Security, and Certification teams
  • Ensure on-time delivery of system requirements and verification activities
  • Escalate critical issues to engineering/business leadership

Required Experience:

  • Avionics environment experience
  • MBSE tools (e.g., EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo)
  • Configuration management (e.g., SVN, Clearcase, git, Dimensions)
  • Requirements management (DOORS)
  • Engineering processes across:
  • Requirements (definition, allocation, V&V)
  • Embedded systems
  • System integration
  • FAA/EASA/NAA certification
  • System safety

Preferred/Plus Experience:

  • DO-297, DO-178, DO-331 process assurance
  • A653 partition-based OS experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to track/report performance against cost/schedule
