Job Title: Associate Product Manager

Location: San Antonio Texas

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8.00 to 5.00 pm.

(Hybrid)

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for managing breakthrough innovation product launch and market research, oversees commercialization projects, ensures definition of the product requirements for the stage gate process, liaison for legal claims, and supports packaging and manufacturing capabilities for all products.

Innovation Pipeline, and Commercialization:

  1. Lead the end-to-end innovation process from idea generation through commercialization across multiple categories (personal care, household, licensed products).
  2. Drive the new product development (NPD) process, from concept validation and formulation through packaging design, feasibility assessments, and launch execution.
  3. Build & manage multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with brand strategy and business goals.
  4. Lead the portfolio lifecycle management continuously monitoring adjustment to product to drive profitable revenue growth

Cross-Functional Partnership with Sales/ R&D/ Finance/ Consumer Insights.

  1. Work cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, and sales teams to ensure the commercialization of successful product innovations.

Build Strategies based on consumer Insights.

  1. Provide insights that guide product development and help define market entry strategies.

Analytics & Reporting:

  1. Manage and analyze data from a variety of sources, Syndicated- including POS (Point of Sale) data, household panel dashboards, IRI, and Nielsen.

Requirements:

Education: Marketing/ Consumer Insights with a concentration in marketing or related field.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in Innovation, Product Development, or brand management within the CPG, FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of product development cycles, retail trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Experience working with agile innovation methods & design thinking is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, trend forecasting, and market research tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge and technical requirements:

Documented success in running research across Foundational, Shopper, Positioning, communication, Innovation testing (idea/ concept/ product/ pack etc).

Innovation – Ideation session, Commercializing product through a stage gate process

Language:

English Required

Spanish Preferred.
