Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Chemist to join our Analytical Research & Development team. This role involves performing analytical and physical testing of complex inhalation product formulations in a cGMP-compliant laboratory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with common analytical instrumentation, strong documentation practices, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical and physical testing of inhalation drug products following established analytical methods and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Document all laboratory activities clearly and accurately in notebooks and approved templates per regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare summaries and reports.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of experiments under the guidance of senior staff or supervisors.
  • Assist in maintaining lab functionality, including equipment upkeep, inventory, and general lab organization.
  • Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), analytical methods, protocols, and technical reports.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field required.
  • 0–2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Familiarity with HPLC and other relevant analytical techniques preferred.
  • Prior experience with inhalation dosage form testing.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
  • Hands-on experience with common analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong documentation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
